spring break

this year for spring break my little brother and i are going to ft. meyers floida to visit our grandparents. wev never been to floida or flown on a plane so we are super excited! my brother is 16 and hes never seen the ocean so wer going to have so much fun! we get to go to tampa for a day and an alligator farm, and of course lay and the beach and go swimming in the ocean!

next week..

next week im going to see elton john with my mom. i bought us the tickets for christmas and we have been so excited! we both love elton john and neither of us have had the chance to see him in concert. billy joel will also be there but im not that into billy joel...im only going because i want to see elton john

who i would meet

if i could meet anyone in the world it would be sammy hagar. i absolutley love sammy hagar! he is my favorite rock star ever! and he lives on the beach in cabo! i would love to go to cabo wabo and hang out with sammy hagar! i would die happy.

where i would live

if i could live anywhere in the world i would live in las vegas. i love the night life atmosphere of vegas. i plan on spending my 21st birthday there! the lights are so amazing at night. especially when your up in the stratosphere looking down from almost 1000 feet...its incredible! i would love to live there!

my thoughts

i think my topic is very important. people do not realize how dangerous abusing perscription drugs can be an dit is very important to try and educate more people about it. Parents need to know more and so do their children. programs in schools such as DARE arn't enough. the mainly concentrate on marijuana and alcohol. occasionally they touch on cocain and heroin but none of these are the prefferd drugs by todays teens. Most teens are taking pills that you need a prescription to get, no just over-the-counter drugs like cough and cold medicines.

february 16. drugs and teens.
*when people hear my topic most people probably think of marijuana. up until recent years marijuana was the by far the most common drug among teens but not anymore.
*whats wrong with this? its not correct. every parent, teacher or future parent should know what drugs are really being circulated in todays teenage world. marijuana is not the danger anymore.
*a value judgement the public makes is that drugs are wrong and harmful. Most parents try to teach their kids to stay away from drugs and to educate them on the dangers, although most parents today lack the proper knowledge about drugs anyway. Then you do have the parents who don't really care about their kids smoking pot. They don't condone it at all.
*if people understood what teens are getting into in todays society they might be a little more apprehensive about their teens getting envolved. if parents knew that smoking pot isn't the popular drug anymore they would probably step up and get more envolved in their teens life.

my weekend

over the weelend i didnt really do much..i worked, babysat, and hung out with my boyfriend. i wanted to go to middletown to see my little brother but that didnt work out so ill prolly go on thursday cuz im off work and school. that never happens! he needs to put speakers in my door panels of my car anyway cuz their blown and he said he would do it forever ago and he hasnt yet!
